13th INTERNATIONAL KIDS VILLAGE (IKV) -SINGAPORE

"CFC Kids for Christ (KFC), a family ministry of Couples for Christ is embarking on an exciting journey towards its mission and vision of "Bringing Kids to the Lord and Building a Bright New World". It is our hope that these kids will be empowered to be Christ-like leaders who will bring about change in the society. In their young age, we wish to instill in them that they can be World Changers by exemplifying Christ through their words and actions.

On December 18-20, 2010, we will be conducting the 13th International Kids Village (IKV) in Singapore. The venues will be at the Singapore Expo Convention & Exhibition Centre and Singapore Discovery Cemtre. We will gather kids from all over the world and inspire them about leadership through three(3) action words: EnvisionEnable and Empower."

WHAT IS CFC KIDS FOR CHRIST?

CFC Kids for Christ (KFC) is a means of supporting CFC’s mission of bringing families back to the plan of God by providing an environment that would assist the CFC parents in fulfilling this mission.

KFC will help the children enjoy a relationship with Jesus Christ in an environment that is fun and life-giving in the company of their friends, and create an atmosphere where Christian values can be shared, practiced, developed, and experienced.

KFC believes that to be able to build an attractive environment to the kids, the program should have the “ 4F ” principle:
1. Fun
It is fun. Activities are enjoyable and they stimulate the child’s creativity, perception, and sensitivity.

2. Friendship
It is built on friendships. Activities encourage the members to build strong friendships with one another.

3. Faith
It enhances the faith. Activities are geared towards their relationship with God explain Christian faith elements in kids language.

4. Freedom
It allows free but responsible expression.  Activities respect the kids for who and what they are and who and what they can be.

The Covenant of the KFC Member
Children of CFC members are automatically considered as members of KFC. They are acknowledged as full-fledged members of the KFC after joining the Junior Kids Day (for 4-8 year-olds) or the Senior Kids Camp (for 9-12 year-olds). At the end of the Senior Kids Camp, the children will be led to commit to the following:
